Dr. Zahid Khan is an experienced Neurosurgeon with more than 17 years of experience in the field of neurosurgery, neurosciences and spine surgery. He is currently associated with Max Smart Super Speciality Hospital, Saket, where he serves as Director – Neurosurgery.
Dr. Khan has extensive experience in the surgical management of complex brain and spine conditions. His areas of special interest include Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery, Degenerative Spine and Trauma, Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS), Image-Guided Surgery, Craniocervical Junction (CV Junction) Surgery, Brain Tumour Surgery and Functional Neurosurgery.
He completed his MBBS from Gajra Raja Medical College, Gwalior, followed by a DNB in Neurosurgery from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi. He has also undertaken specialised training in several advanced neurosurgical techniques, including Deep Brain Stimulation in China, minimally invasive spinal surgery, spinal pump therapy, intracranial pressure monitoring and microsurgical techniques.
Dr. Khan has held several clinical positions during his career, including Principal Consultant – Neurosurgery, Senior Consultant, Consultant and Associate Consultant at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket. Earlier in his career, he worked at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, BLK Memorial Hospital and Sharda Hospital, gaining experience across a broad range of neurosurgical cases.
His clinical experience includes brain tumour surgery, spine surgery, trauma-related neurosurgical conditions, degenerative spinal disorders and functional neurosurgery.
